Revisiting some old works today, from Christmas three years ago. I spent it by myself on top of a mountain in the Canary islands, shooting self portraits. It was lovely and an ideal way to spend the holidays for me ❤️

Can you tell, my partner has a little bit of an obsession about me wearing this hat and especially when I'm napping with it on my face? It does look so good tho and I did buy this hat for aesthetic reasons. We had this friend visiting us and she had a hat like this and would wear these all black outfits and it would just look so good and aesthetically pleasing to have her as this little anonymous figure in the big landscapes... I'm not sure if I'm conveying at all what I mean, but oh well haha

Analog Selfportraits shot on Ilford xp2 Seeing these is making me think once again on how I have this archive, that's document my physical form over the years and seeing myself change and transform over time. Different hairstyles, different ways of expressing myself, different formats of capturing my emotions and my art... It's fascinating to me and I wonder how I will look back on it in the years to come. I hope I'll be doing this for the rest of my life if I am honest

I can not get over how lovely these selfportraits of Olive and me are... I had been wanting to do something where we could play with our different skintones in contrast to each other and it came out beautiful in my opinion. Can you believe I once got booked for a duo shoot with Olive as a "person of color" and when I pointed out to the photographer that I was in fact very much a white person, he just said I would still be darker than Olive and it didn't matter.... 🤦♀️ Anyway, thanks ...

I've gotten so used to the heat here that now 20° feel dramatic to me 🥲 I do know it's also because I shaved my head tho. Since then, because my head gets cold, my whole body gets cold much faster... so first thing I do after I get out of bed is put my hat and scarf on, even if otherwise I'm naked 😂

Ugh I can not get over how beautiful these images are that I took of @pepa.de.luna last summer. I realized today that I have all these images left from her visit that I had not edited yet, so I have been spending all evening obsessing over them and editing all the ones I had backlogged. Tomorrow I will share some we took together as well, that I love love love... I just hope you guys like them too!
