When I was a kid, I used to go out into the yard (we had a huge yard out in the country, it was beautiful) and lay down to stare up at the sky. I miss that a lot, and I wish I had a yard where I could occasionally fall asleep with the sun on my cheeks. (Hard to do these days I guess.)

The Lady Houndstooth

While sketching this out I decided to change up the Lady's clothes. Originally she was in a dress, but I feel her character makes more sense in pants. The Lady acts very cold and decisive, clear and blunt. Her icy demeanor doesn't 'hide' a loving soul, it's more she cares very deeply, but is physically unable to show it.

Although if you speak to her subjects, you would find that they love her. She takes care of them, and it's apparent through her actions if not her words.
