Monthly Update

Hey, everybody! Sorry for the long bout of silence between the last update and now, but I'm happy to announce I'll be releasing a new alpha for patrons, soon! Thanks for your patience. I took a bit more time off than I expected to, but I think I needed it, between work and moving and some other things going on in my life, things have been a bit hectic. It's been nothing serious, so don't worry. I'm ready to start back up again.

Final Public Beta, 0.045

Yet again, another bug fix. This marks the end of the road for public releases of 0.04. The game still has some minor bugs, mostly during clearly marked unfinished content. I'll be moving forward now with 0.05. This last update includes some long-standing bugs getting quashed which I'm pretty happy about and represents a good solid demo of the game in its current state. I'm looking forward to releasing patron previews for 0.05 in the coming months! ^^

Latest Beta release and fixes

We've posted our latest public beta, version 0.044. There have been a healthy dose of fixes and wrapping up of events, though there's still a lot of work to do. That being said, this is the most stable version of the game so far and will likely be the last public update until 0.05. As stated before, 0.05 will take atleast a couple months of work to complete. So the earliest tentative date would be early June.

Patrons will get access to test builds in between that time frame.

Beta v0.042 is out

As always, I like to cruise through bug fixes when I release a beta. You can expect 0.043 in a few days.

The following changelog includes 0.041, which was only posted about on the discord.

  • Fixed the slew of error codes popping up when passing time from night to morning and simplified some otherwise overly complicated scripts internally
  • Implemented Ntarldgecst's wideMode.js script (Big ups!)

First off, thank you to all the patrons and everyone in this discord for really encouraging me to keep going. Not sure we would've made it this far without that, not even trying to butter you all up.  Secondly, there are some caveats. Road Map for 0.05

So I wanted to make a post about 0.05, since 0.04 is only a week away. This is a bit of a rushed post as I have a zillion things going on at the moment but I will return here and revise it as needed.

After 0.04 I expect to release a new beta every 1 to 2 months with the expectation leaning closer to every 2 months. In between then I likely will release anywhere from 2 to 4 alphas for patrons to access. With every beta release I will post a roadmap with goals for the next beta.

Lots of Anna related stuff in this update. Basically, all her old encounters from Beta 0.03 have been updated to newer systems and revised to fit changes in the story. One fun part of this event is that you can actually save NPCs captured by Annalise and they will gladly join you. I wasn't able to spend as much time on this build as I would have liked. Anna's backpack scene crashes the game and is a far more complicated bug than originally thought. It may end up being easier for me to simply re-write the entire thing. We're relaunching the patreon ahead of the 0.04 release

Hey everyone! First things first, yes, the 0.04 release is comingby the end of February. Secondly, and maybe more importantly,  I did not realize when relaunching the patreon that some of you are still subscribed. I'm honestly not sure how that works and so some of you will want to review your subscription status before deciding to continue to subscribe.
