Robin knows how he looks and sounds, he's used to getting misgendered. So he doesn't correct people (more when he's just meeting them one time). But that doesn't mean that it doesn't make him uncomfortable, so he appreciates that Dani doesn't do it for others' comfort. Dani would never do it, and that's something Robin really appreciates.

Happy pride month 💕

I wanted to do an illustration to commemorate this month. This is Robin’s first pride parade, and he was kinda nervous, he comes from a small town (a pueblito) and he has never had this kinda big celebration of life and love. Dani held his hand all the way, and Robin was so moved to see so many people celebrating being who they want to be. He felt like he could make it 💕

Going out, Robin's version

Robin, being an Art history major, LOVES going out to the museums, and he also has an obsession with cathedrals. Since he's practically new to the city where they are staying, he asked Dani if he wanted to come with him to see the local museums and cathedrals. But ofc Mexico being Mexico, and not having a car, they walked and ended up beaten by the heat.

These kinds of times are when Robin rambles the most.

Lo prometido es deuda, and here they go. In my mind, they have been having an affair in Regulus's ship. James is an undercover merman who gives Regulus insight into the sea. Regulus gives insight into the humans so the mermaid people can battle them.

Dani had an odd way of flirting

In reality, he wasn't aware at the time of what feelings Robin made him feel back then, but he knew they were different and somehow not "right," so he did everything he could to repress them and, in the meantime, took them out on Robin in a bad way.

That's why, when Robin finds out that the cute guy who is gonna be in the room next door is THAT Dani, he isn't happy at all.
