The Blind Alley kids are getting older...

Found these doodles of the Blind Alley cast as like pre-teen/early-teenagers. I didn't spend much time on these, but it's fun to consider how these kids would age. I think Crane, Ten, Kaye, Sweepea, and Lula are stand outs for me while the others are too safe!

Looking Back: A Decade of Self Publishing

Since finishing The Gulf in March 2023, I’ve been haunted by the feeling that I’ve been idle. Receiving both the new Blind Alley book and the Mutt Mag was a much needed kick-in-the-head — I’ve definitely not stopped drawing comics despite the fact that I haven’t dived in on a graphic novel.

There was a point last year where I hoped that Running with the Dogs would be my next project. Some time away from it made it clear that I wanted it to ...

Hit publish on something and patreon, which is absolutely insufferable to work within, removed all the images from the post. I'll have to manually reinsert them instead of copy and pasting them into the editor so...it'll be a minute before that post comes back.

Blind Alley...returns?

Hey folks,

I miss drawing Blind Alley.

I'm currently in the midst of finishing up the pitch for No Place and packing orders but, after that, I hope to start posting Blind Alley again. I may allow myself the leisure of being a little more laid back about the posting schedule just in order to make time for other work. However, I miss drawing it and everything I post will remain exclusive to patreon for a while! Maybe until the fall?
