It's been a while since I made a soft spoken bts video, I hope you'll enjoy this one. It shows how I prepared some aspects of the next roleplay, from bow sewing to tape measure making.

I'm currently working on the next roleplay, with the return of the servant, and thought that I would share a bit of the process.
This is a moodboard with pictures I've been gathering along the past few weeks, that inspire me for the set, costumes, colors or lights (and, yes, you shall wear a gorgeous lady outfit !). Along with the historical research, watching movies -and sometimes series- is a great way to immerse myself into a very specific atmosphere.

I'm now working on the last roleplay of the year, kind of "Christmas special", and I'm deep in the preparation stage : hunting for antique furniture & props (and wands), folding a few hundred of empty boxes for the shelves and gathering what I already have that can be re used, as well as trying to create a few homemade wands.... And watching all the Harry Potter movies again, of course.

So here is my new challenge : composing and performing my next RP's intro music. It will be a pagan themed video, probably a bit experimental, and I've decided to create a song based on percussions (bodhràn, tambourine, triangle), a bit of fiddle, and maybe a few harp notes. I found a secondhand bodhràn (see gif) and now I have 2 weeks to learn the basic strokes and patterns 😅

How is your summer going ?
For the upcoming video, I needed to rewrite letters so I could shoot a few closeups. I decided to record the process : this is a very simple video, still with cozy vibes, and I hope you'll enjoy the writing sounds, whispers and unintelligible whispers :) Again, these were inspired by actual medieval / Renaissance letters (Tudor era).
The video in which these letters are used will be out Sunday on the channel !

My father, who is a very good handyman, is here to help us and it's going fast ! I shall be able to start recording again in August.
As you can see on the pictures, some things were already there and new, so there is not everything to be done. Door, windows, insulation, ceiling & loft were already renovated by the previous owner, so we're just converting the first floor,...

Today I’m sharing with you the 3 antiques I bought to bring some changes in the vintage teacher’s set.
I recorded this video in front of the fireplace but it turned out to be louder than expected, with the wooden ceiling cracking because of the heat. I tried to cut the loudest parts, I hope it won’t be too disturbing !
