Had a lot of fun with this one, admittedly. Really enjoying the gouache brush for my render work more than the old watercolor brush I was using.
I actually read Scott Pilgrim as a kid and this specific line about the garlic bread really stuck with me, even before I was super into weight gain. It's kinda neat for things to go full circle and to draw it.

Why the new look and name? It'd be really confusing to have two Rose Quartzes who look identical running around!

Over these past few days of my week break I've just been sort of idly sketching different ideas I had in mind, and all in all it's created quite a pile of sketches. I know I've been slacking on the exclusive content department this past month, so hopefully this makes up for the trouble!

Decided to tweak and update Gwen's design a little, just to give it more of a standard Spider-Man feel. Mostly, I gave her design more webbing and added an emblem on her back, while sharpening up what was already there and giving it some fun shape language.
As for a fun little in-universe reasoning, I like the idea that Gwen changes up her costume design after seeing the other Spider Totems and feeling as though her look is a bit out of place.

The chosen character for the December pro render is Samus, and I have to say for being the first time I've drawn her I'm pretty damn happy with how this came out!
