Sad news
While I was at a shoot on Saturday, someone broke into my car and stole a bunch of things, including my new laptop and the hard drive that stored all the photos from the last couple years. Honestly, I'm devastated.
The day after the theft, however, I had a really great all-day shoot with someone who'd never posed nude before and who'd really been wanting to. We had an amazing day (including 8-9 hours of driving) and it really helped ease the heartache a little, and turn the pain into ins...

I should share more about the personal side to the photographer-model interaction. I'm really grateful for people like this gal, who is honestly taking a long time to realize her worth and beauty. It's a long process sometimes. But that mutual trust will pay off in time.

Just before meeting Kali at her apartment for our shoot, I went to a coffeeshop that put these cute heart stickers on the lids of the coffee cups. Suddenly I had an idea(!) and asked if I could have a few more stickers to bring with me....

I can't always do this, but here's something special for those who have stuck by me and supported the artmaking. A behind-the-scenes, unedited glimpse into the day that one of my models brought her roommate over to my house and just had some fun. Not really portfolio-intended stuff; just having a good time and trying new things. It was the roommate's first nude shoot (and first time meeting me) and we ended up doing a couple more shoots later, and became good friends.
