Slight update and paused billing again <3

Just a quick word here, I'll have to pause my billing once again for this month. While I will be uploading this month, it's not enough in my opinion and I've already been quite busy with very little free time as I'd have liked due to my deadlines with work and I suspect I will be working pretty flat out till March at this rate.

February Update

Hey guys, here's an update from me for February to let you know what's going on. First of all, as I was quite absent over Christmas and new Year's time with updates I'd like to apologise for this and hope you're all having a good 2024 so far.

A little random from what you're used to from me but I could not resist. I've had a real interest in the old American West for a while and recently read the classic Lonesome Dove, deciding that these Khajiit characters fit nicely in that dusty, gunslinging cowboy setting.

The Ivy League WIPs

Here are the wip shots for Roman's latest cougar experience. For some background on it, this was actually planned some two years ago with my friend Bronx who owns Ivy where we'd pair her and Roman up for a few pics when he had a big US tour with his hockey team and, clearly back when he was a little less gentlemanly ha. Paused billing while I'm busy with work.

Hey guys, just a small update here. I've decided to pause my billing for December up till the new year, meaning you shouldn't be charged if you're a supporter on my Patreon page.

November Update!

Hello guys, here's a short update for this month and what I've got planned.

I'm back!

Hey guys, I am finally back from Japan and still not fully over my jetlag slump from the 34-hour travel back home. It was rough lol. Thanks for being patient while I was away. 

As promised here's a selection of the food we had over the trip, though these are by no means all of the tasty and interesting dishes we found. Also, a few snaps from my phone too, though they're not the best quality. 

Overall, we only scratched the surface of Japan really. Their cities are so big...

Paris WIPs

Here are the wip shots for Roza's recent trip to Paris. ;)

Overall I can't say this one took me too long compared to my other pics, it was a lot of work and detail though. Mainly I struggled with the rendering phase. Especially when it came to rendering Roza's body, making sure that her highlights looked smooth and natural enough. I've been wanting to practice light on skin a lot lately and want to incorporate this into my work.

September Update!

Cecilia (WIPs)

Here are the wip shots and refs I used for my recent trade with Noxu over on FA of their babe Cecilia. 

As you can see the sketching process and lining took a very long time mostly due to tricky anatomy and perspective (which I don't think I nailed 100% but oh well).Got a big help from my bud Luraiokun with the legs which you can see too.

August Update

Hey guys, here's a small update for August. I am still alive I promise. 

To start off, because I have been so damn busy I have decided to for the time being, treat Patreon as a sort of tip jar as I won't be able to bring you any fully rendered works with your suggestions in mind, like votes, draw the characters etc. :(

I can't say much different to the last update for July as I am still working toward deadlines with my current art job, often with 3 or 4 day deadlines for each...

July update

Here's my small update for June and July and what to expect over the next two months. 

While I had May paused for billing I took some time off from my (normal) furry art for a few weeks. I found myself only working on artwork for my day job which consists of digitally painted landscapes and background work day to day and, as we have a slight deadline coming up for this, it was stressful and somewhat draining too. It sounds typical of me to say this but I fell into a two-week slump ...

Paused billing for May.

Hey guys, I've decided to pause billing for this month. The reason for this is that I've struggled to get anything done in May at all. I've been distracted and unmotivated and somewhat overworked with art screens from my day job, leaving me with little desire to work on personal work afterwards. I've lost a real connection to my art this month and getting back into the swing of it has been tough and tiring.

I also have an awful habit of underestimating how long projects will take me and...

May Update

Hey guys, here is a little update for May and a recap of April. 

Now that I am a full-time illustrator I've been steadily working on backgrounds for my employers and going back and forth to York once a month to meet them. It's been great, a lot of time-consuming work but an awesome opportunity.

Black and Gold (WIPs)

This started as an off-the-cuff sketch for fun but soon turned into a full image with a nice wintery theme. Originally I wanted to make it a daytime scene with colours far different to the ones it ended up with but instead, I went with something cosy, while that horrible winter weather raged outside while she shows off her presents from Santa this year. ;)
