Added 2023-05-16 23:07:41 +0000 UTCI installed a couple DL2700 mortise locks this morning. Both locks I replaced were trashed. One had push plates covering swiss cheese. I was amazed it looked as good as it did when I finished ๐ I used construction cores for function checks as I didn't know how they wanted the x4 cores keyed until I finished the install. The second one I did was a staff restroom ๐ป... I tryed to explain that they couldn't lock it from the inside with these particular units and suggested the indicator deadbolt be installed above. They couldn't comprehend what I was saying, but I'm sure they'll figure it out soon enough. I'll probably be back next week installing an indicator bolt ๐คท๐ปโโ๏ธ
