Revenge of the Sorcerer King 2 - 11

Evening Ladies and Gentlemen! I hope the weekend has treated everyone well. I seem to have a sore throat but its more annoying than anything haha. That's what happens when you sleep with the room at sixty-five degrees. Anyway, here ya'll go!

Chapter 11

Alessa

I managed to stop just in time. Jade was just that delicious. I felt she had to be some sort of honey trap for vampires. How I hadn’t smelt it before now was beyond me. Still, I stopped and nicked my thumb. I tilted the unconscious Jade’s head back and placed my thumb in her mouth.

I only gave Sarius a drop and according to Helena he was your run of the mill newborn vampire. While there were many factors in the transformation process, the amount I gave was part of the transformation decision. I allowed what amounted to six drops to flow into her mouth.

Much like with Sarius, the ground cracked under her as her body started to change. The air grew almost heated from the temperature increasing around her. For what little it might matter I had tried to imagine my sun resistance flowing into her. Oberon had told me that mind and intention were key factors in magic after all.

Unlike me and Sarius, Jade’s hair stayed blonde. Jade had already been beautiful enough to cause men to lose themselves around her. Now it was elevated to a whole new level. Even I found myself wanting to do things to her that I never thought I would picture with another woman.

The crimson light started to pour from her eyes as she reopened them signalling the initial blood frenzy. I used some mana to force one of the prisoners next to the bars and grabbed his arm. Jade didn’t even hesitate as she bit down on the extended limb. With screams from the man that quickly morphed into graons of pleasure, he soon stopped resisting. With an erotic moan, Jade gulped the man’s blood down like it was the elixir of life.

To save the man’s life, I sliced off his arm then burned the wound shut. He barely even registered my actions as he was in the blood euphoric that comes over the victims of the vampire’s bite. He fell back and just laid on the ground staring at the ceiling of the cell without any apparent thoughts in his head.

Jade had managed to cover herself in blood as I remembered that I had too my first time. I used some water magic and collected all the excess blood into an orb and handed to her. “Use this if you get hungry. Oberon has already said that he won’t tolerate unsanctioned blood drinking in the castle and surrounding city.”

“Yes, Mistress,” Jade said still in her own euphoric daze.

“Show me your status.” Jade did so without a thought.

The fact that her sins were some of the highest I had ever seen shrank back to the fact of her family name. Even if the lordship all acted as individual kingdoms, they were all technically part of the Loeriten kingdom. “Loeriten? Isn’t that…” Before I could finish the sentence, Jade managed to pale even further given her new snow white skin and sank to her knees as she covered her head.

“I never meant to hide it! Please don’t kill me!” The girl pleaded grabbing my leg before I could say anything.

“I don’t plan to kill my newest vampire. I’m sure this will require some explanation, but only Oberon will be able to tell us if this is truly a problem. For now, go wait in the other room while I work with the next girl. I wouldn’t want you to try and fight her over the blood she gets to drink.”

“Yes. My lady,” Jade said slouching as she moved to the other separate room to the jail cell.

When she was out of sight, I couldn’t resist making a grin. Did I just make a princess one of my Familia? Sure, it wasn’t a servant, but it basically made her mine. Now if I could make a few of the stuck up princes my toys that would show them. I coughed as I realized maybe I had been spending a bit too much time with Oberon.

I went and got the next woman after clearing my head. I had time for thoughts of world domination later. I needed to make my army.

An hour later, I was done converting the last two girls. While I had hoped that there wouldn’t be an issues, the last one frenzied like Sarius had and I was forced to administer the medicine. Beating the girl to within an inch of her life, finally calmed her down. When she drank blood she finally returned to about how she was before her transformation.

“Oberon has set aside a separate wing for the newly changed vampires. He worried that if we put you with the mortals there might be a bloodbath in the middle of the night.”

“I know I drank, but I still feel thirsty,” One of the women, Laura, I think her name was said as we walked to the new housing.

“That really doesn’t go away, but here soon we will all go hunting and drink until we all feel full.”

“Mortals?” she asked with what I couldn’t decide was either worry or excitement.

“Monsters. The desert has an almost endless supply of monsters. The undead patrol and kill everything within a few hours walk but with our speed, we can get to the areas not picked clean and work our way through it.”

At that moment Laura took a step in her eagerness and ended up face planted in the wall. The three women were still working to get used to their changed forms. Jade had meant to step around one of the other women and ended up colliding with a pillar. It was hilarious to say the least.

We made it to the new housing room and I had the two women go in before I stopped Jade. “We have to tell Oberon so be prepared. I don’t plan to let him kill you, but knowing him I don’t think he would do that.”

“I hope so, mistress.”

“Get some rest. I will call for you when its been decided.”

Oberon

The basilisk nest was soon in front of us. An area with large needle like rocks that extended dozen of meters into the air. Caves dotted the bottom section of these needles where the giant lizards would inhabit. Statues of various races and monsters dotted the surroundings, all of them stuck in various posed with horrified expressions.

The goblins made two lines as we moved forward. Gobluke and I led at the front considering if the goblins looked the beast in the eye, they would join the statues. My forces moved forward slowly. I was regretting not thinking to bring any of the undead. I could have used them to flush the monsters out of their holes.

Thankfully, we didn’t have to wait long. The smell of fresh goblin blood floated into the crevice quickly enough and we began to hear some roars from various points. I moved further in as I wanted to kill the first one. Even though all the goblins were bound to me by contract, the throbbing at the back of my head to kill them all was getting worse. I really needed to find something that I can use to fix that.

“Alright. Time for some action! Make sure to leave one alive. We need the blood to revive all the statues around us.”

“Yes, master!” Gobluke called echoed by some of the closer goblins.

I checked myself while I tried to decide how I wanted to kill the beast. I decided on brute force. Magic was all well and fine, but sometimes you just want to beat the life out of something. I drew Promise and waited at the entrance to the crevice.

The first of the beasts soon appeared around one of the rock outcrops. I had to say it was gigantic. It was much larger than the ones from my time. I gave it a smirk, glad to see at least one race that was taking advantage of the system placed by the Hero. When it was about a hundred meters from me, I took off at a run.

A few seconds, we collided. The basilisk obviously didn’t realize that I was undead as it tried to use its Petrifying gaze on me to no affect. I didn’t hesitate and jumped clearing the four meters to land on its head. “I wonder if I make a zombie, would it keep your Petrifying gaze?”

The basilisk began to panic as something managed to get on it. It thrashed its body about, but I stabbed down with Promise and held on. The blade started drinking the mana of the beast as soon as it bit down. The beast tried to slam us against a rock wall, but I formed a small barrier to was pushed further into the hide of the beast.

When it was about to die, I pulled Promise free. The beast sank to the ground breathing heavily. I could hear more of the beasts in the distance but wasn’t too worried. From what I gathered, the beasts had relied too much on their Petrifying gaze, and while they had a good amount of brute force were unable to apply it. The goblins might have some trouble, but I would assist to make sure none of them died.

“Well then as promised,” I said placing my hand on the top of the beast’s head. I channeled my necromancy. I wanted to test further on converting living to undead. If Wraith was any example then it might create much more powerful undead.

Green ethereal energy flowed along my arm into the beast that started to thrash all over again. It didn’t last long before it ceased all movement. Its skin rotted before my eyes then it twitched as it stood up again. While it was a zombie, I could tell it was a higher class than one created from a fresh corpse.

“Go help the goblins.” I ordered the undead beast then turned to the goblin force. “Anyone turned to stone won’t be coming back as a goblin.”

I stood back and watched as the Goblins prepared smaller forces to deal with individual basilisks. It was a good idea as fifty goblins trying to take on one of the beast would just get in each others’ ways. Three of the beasts were close to joining us in battle when one of them collapsed a few dozen meters from the lines the goblins had formed.

Yunio, the Wraith, was tearing it apart with her oversized sword. Each swing she made would carve a section of the ground out along with the beast. I knew the woman was still technically in there after interviewing her a few times, but it was trapped under compulsory orders from me.

I turned my attention to the goblins and saw they had wrapped strips of cloth over their eyes. It was thin enough that they could still see through it but thick enough it should hinder the effects of the Petrifying gaze. They would still have to be careful not to look the beasts in the eyes.

The undead basilisk slammed into one of the living and held it down while the goblins started using spears to stab the beast. With the undead beast’s help, they shouldn’t have too much trouble dealing with the living. I moved over to a larger outcropping and hopped up to get a better view of the field. I summoned a few magic missiles so that I could help out if needed.

“It is a lovely night,” I said looking at the stars that had black clouds rolling over them.
