Hello everyone!

Episode 204 is out, early, and ad-free for you! Enjoy your week and thank you so much for all your support!

Today, I'm going to tackle a beast of a question! Letโ€™s talk about the future of Starbase! Whatโ€™s needed to build a rocket bigger than the Saturn V Moon rocketโ€ฆ 1000 times? Letโ€™s do this!

Very fine deductive forward engineering team Felix! Fascinating. At the same time, your analysis does not integrate the question of WHY Elon Musk needs to send 1,000 starships to Mars. Presumably because it will require a Mars base population of 1,000,000 persons to become self-sustaining. It appears that Elon's thesis is "if you build it, they will come". In other words that there will be 1,000,000 Mar Colonists lined up and ready to go over Elon's assumed transport period. If there isn't there is a risk that he is producing unnecessary hardware using resources that could have been focused on the probability that building a colony will take a very long time and will start out being insanely unpleasant and unforgiving. I would like to see the Felix team apply themselves to assessing whether 1,000 starships are actually necessary.

So Felix - If you want to make headlines in the Space X community, check out Brilliant Light Power. Lots of info - too much to include here. This video shows Hydrino energy producing steam. This could be used to generate power on a Starship on the way to Mars. THEY DON"T BURN ANY HYDROGEN. It is a catalog reaction that will revolutionize the production of power, the oil industry, and much more. Crazy I know. I've been following this company in New Jersey for about 10 years and have no financial interest what so ever in its success. But if you take the time to research their presentation and demonstrations, you will be blown away. This has been replicated in multiple independent labs so it is as real as the nose on your face. If you want, there is a book written by one of Dr Randal's proteges that is informative. As a degreed engineer, I understood about 10% of what was written. The YouTube videos really tell the story as well as the videos on their website. Here is one example. Its a steam generator. https://brilliantlightpower.com/plasma-video/. Here is their main website. https://brilliantlightpower.com/plasma-video/ Trust me - little ole John from St. Louis Missouri - You'll have a hard time dealing whether it is real or just a doctored video!!!!!

I can afford that. Don't know what I'm going to do up there. I'm interested in the sub-orbital flight plan. You know, the 30 seconds to the other side of the word for about $4,000 plan Elon spoke about. SpaceX and Tesla will become the largest employers in the world if they aren't already. We need this kind of innovation even if it makes a monopoly because we aren't going to make it to the stars without a pathfinder to show the way and set standards regarding how to do it right.

So if they want to literally produce about 2 starships per week, where do you think they will store them? And, I remember when Musk talked about flying each starship out to the sea based launch rig. How do you think that will factor into your analysis. In order to produce that many starships and boosters in the time frame you are talking about, it can't be done with the production facilities they have now. They would have to stand up the Kennedy Space Center in the next 12 - 18 months to even come close to their goals. Like I said, way to go!!

Felix (I hope I got your first name right!) OUTSTANDING presentation. Well presented and well written. Kudos to your team.

Thanks Felix and to the entire team ๐Ÿ‘

you probably need to double your weight ( you + life support, chairs... )
