If you look at the thrust puck picture again you will notice the spiral milling marks in those large open areas, that tells me that the thrust puck is made from a solid slab of milled stainless that looks about 2 inches thick when it began milling. Thanks for encouraging people to voice their opinions to the FAA even if they are locked in your basement and forced to watch launches and Starship updates. You have a great sense of humor. I'm sure everyone has their own idea about how to fix the tiles. I think you have to look at those who walked this path before us and they turned to high temp two part silicone to attach them. We all know how well that worked. Instead of tiny little hexagons that can blow off like leaves in a strong wind use larger molded panels glued on with high temp two part silicone directly to the stainless. Larger molded panels presents more surface area per panel and thus better adhesion. The cylindrical portion of Starship could practically be done in one piece. You glue something that big onto the body of the rocket it's never coming off.
