We've Remastered the First 5 Episodes of Fun City!
Added 2022-11-28 15:12:57 +0000 UTCChums! Mike here. Hope you're well! After the positive response to the remaster of the first two episodes of Float City, I thought it might be fun to remaster the first bunch of Fun City episodes.
That ended up being a bit larger of an undertaking involving finding old hard drives, rescuing data, replacing plugins which never made the transition to Apple silicon – not to mention redoing the whole signal routing scheme from back then, which was ... lets be charitable and call it "misguided".
But now it's done! Instead of uploading the remasters as new files, I've gone ahead and simply replaced the files on both Patreon and the public, Simplecast feed. I think they sound great, and are a HUGE improvement over the original mixes. It was hard to restrain myself from continuing to the rest of the back catalog.
It may take a day or two for the files to make their way to every podcatcher - and even then you may need to delete episodes and re-download to get the new files. It's different for every service. But they should be live on Simplecast and here on Patreon directly, immediately. Let me know if you have any problems, or questions... and I hope you enjoy!
