The discord is much more convenient for me to post announcements and directly interact with players (I’m available on there pretty much every day) so I’ll be using that primarily
I will still use Patreon for polls and important news updates :)
Please check discord for an important announcement regarding Patreon. I've temporarily changed the Patreon reward tiers, pending a rework when I find time after the Early Access release on Steam (I've been very busy preparing the game for launch)
The biggest change is the removal of the $20-lifetime reward granting a game key on release. Everyone who has pledged before release will still be able to claim their Steam Key, but future pledges will not be viable. The reasoning for this is explained in detail in the Discord #Announcements channel.
The other changes to tiers aren't final, so please do not fret about those for now. I hope to be able to offer some new rewards instead.
Thanks to all Patrons for supporting this project :) You really helped Venture Seas reach a place I'd never have expected. It is surreal to me to see the game currently on the Front Page of Steam, and a large part of this is due to all the support you've so kindly granted me :D
