Happy Easter All! March/April Update

Firstly welcome all new members! 

Since this is sort of a last month /start of this month post I'll try and keep it brief but informative (I said try...)  

First things first! if you are brand new and have not registered on the member site, please click the link below and create an account and I will activate it for you. You need to use the same email address to register as you use here on patreon. This is the place where the files are!

Models added late last month will stay for this month (anything from 28th onward ) But everything else will be moved to the archive - so members on Starter access, grab em soon!  They are moved on the 5th of the month. The Borat Grogu April fools model is being uploaded!! lol  I wouldn' tease like that... (will be uploaded soon after this post - it is the only model in the pictures above that is not yet uploaded) 

Well i'm not sure where March went, that was a bit of a blur.. we welcomed several hundred new patrons to the family and we also had a pretty large slog of models to boot also. The scary part is that wasn't all of them... I just dang ran out of time for the month, but anything that didn't make it then will be coming up this month (mainly T800 stuff, but that in itself will take people a few weeks to print, the legs come in large pieces/long prints) I think I took half a day off to get my car serviced but other than that I pretty much had a very full month :) 

Speaking of coming up this month, we have 10 more mugs lined up for you (very themed..)  2 new Grogu mashups, continuation of the deluxe armor onto the cod pieces and forearms for Bo katan and Fett style. I have my final Mandalorian helmet version coming which to you all will be version 2, as I've only released one version before... but to me personally it is version #999.... as i've done it and re-done it so many times but never still 200% happy, but I think it's ready now so that will be coming also. 

The Droideka will also be released in a 1:4 scale easier print version (YES! I said that)  

Now there is plenty more than that coming, but as per usual I like to keep some surprises but we do have 2 detailed Starwars dioramas coming up this month also, one of which i've visited before but not i this detail, the other i've not seen anything like it and am excited to see it coming along well, I really hope to have that one out mid-month. 

General info:

If you are due for your upgrade to full access (as in this is your third month starting now...) you don't need to do anything, we are going to upgrade you all automatically later on today (which is the 3rd of April for me)

Note for those waiting for upgrade:

If your payment was declined you will not be included in the upgrades today. Patreon tries several times during the month, however if your payment is declined a third time, your member depot account will be deactivated as per normal. No stress, you just need to contact myself or Jay to have it re-enabled.  

If you have not seen them, there are 5 new sections on the members Depot, located down the bottom:

  1) Build logs - where members can detail their more complex builds if they like so others might get some insight.  (All members can view, but only Full access members can create posts)

    2) User Modified models - where members can upload any patreon models they have modified and think others might like  (All members can view, but only Full access members can create posts)

  3) New Model requests    THIS is where you request a new model or one you think would be cool - Full access members only. Members on starter access cannot post nor view this section.

  4) Existing Model Requests Additions and Updates

     (All members have access.)

  5) Miniature RPG Sets, Figures Terrain and Props

   (All members have access)

Welcome aboard Jay Neofitos! 

Now you all know Jay obviously.....

Well, as we hit our last goal, one of those goals was to be able to hire some official help!! And....  after Joining the patreon some three years and helping me completely out of his own time and energy, late nights, messaging patrons, dealing with problems that really were not his worry or things he really didn't have to do at all.. (but he did them anyway ) I am glad finally to say that Jay is now an official part of the Hex3D Team!  

This means I can actually ask him to do stuff now and not feel guilty hahah :) I guess the main benefit for the rest of you besides more dedicated support , is the amount of models you are seeing me produce now which should significantly increase as Jay becomes more deeply involved in the admin side of things and can answer questions and do things he may not have been able to do previously, freeing up some more time in the day for me. I used to wake up and it would be maybe 50 messages, 50 emails, now its really more like 300-400 every morning and it can be really time draining so I'm excited for things moving ahead. I'll have a lot more time for the really detailed stuff, no so much complex but those models that have all the nice things :)  

We will also be organizing some new contact links and Galleries moving forward which we've been meaning to do for a while now so we can streamline requests (which we get lots of!!!)

So sit back everyone! we have another very big month coming up, lots of user requests also done and modified file requests which I will unload also this month.

Thank you everyone for your ongoing support, I never really thought my models would bring this much enjoyment to people so i'm still a little in shock and probably always will be, so thank you humbly everyone, you make it possible for me to literally do what I love doing all day every day which is a very valuable thing.

There are more announcements coming up this month but I'll save those for the next post :)
