April Print Challenge WIP (DEADLINE EXTENDED)

FIRST massive thank you to those that participated / are participating. I made this one maybe a little too complex for the time frame, totally my bad - I know a lot of people are close to finishing and since this is judged on the best output/paint/everything I want to give everyone the chance to not have to rush . and the upcoming May print challenge will be EASY PEASY so can be started late.

Some of what are in the prize packs for the challenge were posted on the FB group page also yesterday if anyone hasn't seen them. Since this was a big project the prize packs need to reflect the effort so i'm hoping the winners are happy when they receive their packs!

Please note, due to Patreon's own  Policies, we cannot run Lotteries or giveaways - this is not my decision  - its theirs, otherwise we could just do random giveaways but we cannot unfortunately.

These Print challenges are actually there by necessity as it is
not a lottery and only those that are already a member, download the files,  complete the challenge and put their entry in are eligible to win. It is based on usually either a time frame or transparent vote  - this is the best way to give some great stuff back to you guys in the fairest way I can think of .

The challenges also do one good.. thing, get everyone another model to print! - that  and they are usually super detailed because I sort of use these challenges to break from requests and go wild a bit :) )

After all this is a 3D printing patreon so it makes sense the challenge is based on... 3D printing :)

Ok get your printing caps on,  The April Challenge is here!!
These challenges are just meant for fun, onthe side type stuff along with the other models that will flow out this month.

Who is the challenge for ? All of you, or anyone that wants to participate.

Stuck for ideas of what to print or want something a little more challenging than a small figure bust.

Challenge Starts 10/4/2020 (Today)
Challenge Ends  20/5/2020 (NEW DEADLINE)

RULES:
No Rules. Print any scale you desire, cut pieces further if needed, basically anything goes.

HOW TO SUBMIT YOUR ENTRY:
Post a picture here below with your print or ideally on the Facebook group page.
https://www.facebook.com/groups/333491834120262/

JUDGING:
Aprils competition will be based on a Public poll of the best print... so even if you don't finish the entire thing, you can still submit what you've done. Ideally a paint job will help your chances!

*Use the Brain_Cap V2 files (the part that goes ontop of the brain and holds the turret) these are included in the dropbox folder along with the assembly instructions (its pretty easy this one)

So what are the prize packs??? Well the  winners from March will enjoy some nice goodies, I like to keep them a  surprise. They will always include some sort of memorabilia, usually  some apparel like a T shirt, things that generally come in handy in a  makers toolkit.

As we increase in members and time goes by  these models will increase in skill level and also the prize packs will  increase in value and goodness :)

I want to keep this going every month as it allows me to just go a but  nuts and make whatever I can think of for the challenge and it's a lot of  fun.

Enjoy and have some fun!

Download is located in the Member depot,  Gamers Haven section.

Will fix the link now!!!

Geoffro / Hex3D

Hi Geoffro, any chance to still be able to get in on this? It seems that the Dropbox link has expired. If not, I totally understand.

I have made the ball inserts slightly smaller for tolerance but purposely left those as separate pieces so they could be fast reprinted if needed, this of course will require a little sanding of the pin hole for that ball end but yeah if its a bit tight there is that option or do a really thick coat of paint in the socket if its close enough to not warrant reprint

Geoffro / Hex3D

Hi mate I have printed the brain and the main body so far and have just started on the legs and was wondering do the ball joints fit tight in the sockets or are they meant to be loose? Cheers love the detail in this model
