Update: Lord of the Rings and Star Wars

Now that Jeff is off the podcast for a couple months, I wanted to update you all on what's coming next. I'll be resuming my The Lord of the Rings episodes right where I left off last time; you can catch up on previous episodes here. They'll be released on the usual weekly schedule: Small Councillors on Thursdays, Kingsguard and High Lords & Ladies on Fridays, Sworn Swords on Saturdays, Poor Fellows on Sundays, and the general public on Mondays. This week, I'll be covering "The Taming of Smeagol," the first chapter in Book Four. It'll be out starting tomorrow!
But that's not all. While Jeff is away, I'll be going through the Star Wars movies in weekly episodes exclusively for patrons. I'll be starting at the beginning...which means, naturally, Episode I: The Phantom Menace. (Why are you booing? I'm right!) It's a fascinating film for better and for worse, and I'm really looking forward to writing and talking about it. The first episode will be up starting on this coming Sunday (3/20) for Small Councillors. I'm looking forward to getting back to A Storm of Swords as much as anyone, but you won't be short of NotACast episodes in the meantime. I’d be curious to hear your thoughts on 3D the Clone wars movie / animated series Emmett. That show really adds to the prequels, as well as the politics of the war that happens in between Attack of the clones and revenge of the sith and the show is basically Lucas’ last thing he helped make for the universe (Well seasons 1 -6 at least before Disney picked it up for one last season and completed some of the unfinished episodes they had left)
