Here are the WIP shots of Hotel Miami Passion.

This pic actually didn't take me too long all things considered. Though still, the final edits took me the better half of a day to get right, which is a bad habit I'm trying to get out of. I'd set myself a tight deadline for this one too, otherwise I'd have been tempted to add some soap suds and more water effects, but ah well. Better a piece be done than go on forever.

I find that whenever I work on something, the rendering phase is always super dark, with lots of multiply layers to add shade and tone to figures. This usually looks fine to me, but once the rendering goes on top it can make things look really muddy and oversaturated, and so, like with this piece, the end stages were me juggling the tonal values of these shade and colour layers. I'm sure most artists go through this phase of adjusting colour values and tone at the end of a piece, but it would be really nice to just be happy with what you've added as you go, so maybe in the future I'll try to not be so finicky with this.

Well, what can I say, I just HAD to draw Roman and Cassandra having a good time together. She is one hot vixen, and it was fun to actually draw Roman fully rendered again too. ;)
