“A chestplate that is crafted with an ancient lightweight alloy and the fossilized remains of an ancient beast that was one of the prehistoric era’s most agile aerial hunters. The Pteranodon.
Designed to mimic the creature's ability to soar the skies, this chest piece uses the hollow ribs of the creature as a type of air bladder system allowing the user to soar. Unlike its companions, the crystalline structure of this item seems to respond to high speed movement instead of kinetic force.
Despite the seemingly natural occurrence of these pink crystals, they seem to be incorporated with some intelligent design.”
While wearing this suit, you gain a Flying speed of 30 ft.
Dazzling Darts - As an Action, you launch 4 darts of radiant energy at up to 4 targets within 120 ft. Each dart strikes simultaneously, dealing 1d4 Radiant damage. A creature hit by one of these darts shed a pink Dim-Light for 10 minutes or until they are dealt damage. Attacks against a glowing creature are made with Advantage and while glowing, the creature cannot benefit from the Invisible condition. You may use this feature a number of times equal to your Proficiency modifier and regain all uses on a Short or Long rest.
Aerial Overwatch - When taking the Attack action, you can give up one of your attacks to allow an ally to make a single attack instead, using their Reaction. You may use this feature once per Long Rest.
Call the Spirit - Housed inside the crystals embedded in this weapon is the spirit of the ancient beast whose bones were used in its creation. The Pteranodon.
As an action you can literally call upon the great spirit’s power by loudly calling its name in battle to temporarily empower your weapon beyond its normal capabilities. You gain access to the empowered version of the weapon’s stat and changes listed below.

While wearing this suit, your Fly speed is now increased to 60 ft. and you no longer provoke opportunity attacks when you move out of an enemy’s reach.
Dazzling Darts (MORPHED) - When an ally deals damage to an enemy that is affected by this ability, that ally is healed for 2d4 + their Constitution modifier.
Aerial Overwatch (MORPHED) - When using this ability, an attack made by an ally becomes a Critical Hit on a roll of 18-20. Additionally, you may now use this ability twice per long rest.
