The blade is crafted from one of the earliest techniques used by the mortal races to forge metal. These ancient smiths would use the volcanic heat of the primordial world to work the steel into perfection, each fold of the blade containing the unbearable heat.

Versatile - This weapon can be used with one or two hands. A damage value in parentheses appears with the property. This is damage when the weapon is used with two hands to make a melee attack.
Tyrant’s Roar - As an action, you can channel the ferocity of the king of dinosaurs, letting out a fearsome roar. All enemies within 60 ft. must make a DC15 Wisdom saving throw or become Frightened. A creature Frightened in this repeats its Saving Throw at the end of its turn. You may use this feature once per Long Rest.
Magma Sweep - When making an attack, you can force all creatures in a 15ft. Cone in front of you (including the target of your attack), to make a DC15 Dexterity saving throw. Failure: 4d8 Fire damage. Success: Half damage.
You may use this feature a number of times equal to your Proficiency modifier and regain all uses on a Long Rest.
Call the Spirit - Housed inside the crystals embedded in this weapon is the spirit of the ancient beast whose bones were used in its creation. The Tyrannosaurus Rex.
As an action you can literally call upon the great spirit’s power by loudly calling its name in battle to temporarily empower your weapon beyond its normal capabilities. You gain access to the empowered version of the weapon’s stat and changes listed below.
