Agreed. This show handles those emotional beats incredibly well, and it’s nice, for once, to have a protagonist that’s mature enough to actually kill his enemies when he has to, but emotionally attuned enough to (at times) give them peace and hold their hand because he understands they were victims, too. That moment with the demon and his brother probably hooked me to the show more than the animation or the music.

Love these reaction vids and even upped my tier just so I can catch their demonslayer vids on early access. But just one question, Why no commentary before/after for this? Was looking forward to seeing everyones discussions on the show?

I know he's hardly the MOST sympathetic of the demons we get tragic backstories to. But I do like how the Hand Demon is revealed to have been a child this whole time, like the multiple hands it grew simply because he's reaching out for an older brother he's long since devoured and forgot about. And even its mannerisms when it was taunting Tanjiro, from its giggling, to its grudge to Urokodaki DOES feel subtly childish. I appreciate the subtlety.

The reasoning is unknown. In the manga it is still unknown i believe, but he is the only one to have a unique sword that has two colors

Quick question for people who are caught to the end of this season and/or the manga! I have seen a picture of the yellow hair guy's sword but it only has like yellow lightning strike pattern his whole blade isnt yellow like tanjiro's is there a reason for that or is it just a unique to each member.
