But someone in discord definitely should mention to The Homies the fact that there are different cuts of The Hateful Eight to choose from…so, that’s a conversation worth having instead of just having them randomly watch whatever cut of the film they see first when they look it up. (The same goes for Death Proof; there’s a couple of ways to watch that movie and there are different CUTS of the movie as well. The first question would be, “Do we want to see them react to the Grind House double-feature back to back?” After all, each film was made to be experienced in a single sitting; a REAL double-feature of 70’s era exploitation cheesy B-movie cinema. If you watch “Death Proof” just by itself, the entire vibe of the first half of that movie is already ruined and it will just feel SUPER weird. Whether or not you like “Planet Terror” isn’t really of consequence. What’s important is that “Planet Terror” is a very intentionally over-the-top gonzo style B-Horror movie that goes off the rails early and never lets up. Without the intensity of watching “Planet Terror” before you watch “Death Proof,” the much calmer first half of “Death Proof” makes it feel like you’ve stumbled into a Tarantino film half-way through. There are very complicated and depressing reasons that “Death Proof” was met with largely mixed reviews from audiences & why it remains criminally over-looked to this day… Perhaps this is all stuff I should mention in the discord server before they actually film their reactions to these movies(?). Because I’m pretty certain that Ellie and/or Blue will react to all of Tarantino’s movies eventually. I just hope they get the experience that Tarantino wanted for his viewers with those particular films. Of course it’s up to The Homies which versions of the movies they end up watching, but it would be unfortunate if we didn’t at least make them aware of the fact that there are different version of some of these movies to choose from etc. Just my two cents. Cheers.

VINCENT WAS SHOOTING UP HEROIN THROUGHOUT THE ENTIRE MOVIE, (that’s why he’s always acting so chill and also if you know the side effects of that drug you’d understand why Vincent was always in the bathroom lol). MIA was snorting cocaine from the first scene she’s in until probably right before they drove back to her place after dinner…re-watch the scene where Vincent is buying the Heroin from Lance, ( his hilarious drug dealer). Notice that Lance says, “Oh…I’m actually out of balloons, is a baggie okay?” (And he asks his wife to bring him a baggy which she does etc.) Okay, so normally heroin is packaged/sold to customers in a “balloon” sort of packaging, (not literally balloons as far as I know but I could be totally wrong?). The whole point is that cocaine is & always has been sold to customers in very small baggies, (or if you’re a habitual user like Mia, a small ziplock bag would probably be what she’s used to seeing). *So here’s what happens: MIA has been doing a ton of cocaine ALL night, and while Vincent was in the bathroom having that mirror-conversation, (lol), Mia discovers the HEROIN in Vincent’s jacket & Mia (understandably) thought it had to be cocaine since it was in a little baggy — as opposed to a balloon. Combing these two drugs isn’t just dangerous or “risky,” it’s genuinely likely that you’ll die if you mess around w/ combing these two substances, (often referred to as “speedballing.”)* LOTS OF CELEBRITIES HAVE ACCIDENTALLY OVER-DOSED IN THIS EXACT WAY IN JUST THE LAST ~60-75 years alone. Who knows how maybe before then. The history of pharmacology & medicine is fascinating, (I’m a chemist so maybe I am biased). But in the U.S., back in the early 1900s, you could walk into your closest grocery store & pharmacy/chemist, and you could just buy a bottle of heroin (like you buy NyQuil or whatever these days). No prescription necessary. No limit on how much you could buy. It was LITERALLY sold by Bayer as a “remedy for all major & minor ailments.” Can you imagine? OH AND SOMETHING ELSE BLUE MENTIONED, “people don’t inject cocaine, that’s way hardcore.” Actually…You’d be surprised, people initially started injecting cocaine when the compound was first isolated & then studied to be synthesized in research labs. One of the BEST tv shows ever created is called, “The Knick,” and it’s only 2 seasons long, but most of what I’ve mentioned in this comment is covered in that show. It’s SO AWESOME. It’s about a surgeon in the years 1900 & 1901 in an elite New York City hospital. It’s *extremely accurate in terms of all the medical breakthroughs and types of simple medical procedures we’re fortunate to know how to do, but back then was a very crazy time for doctors all over the world — as big cities were finally given electricity, the floodgates towards medical innovations & procedures opened. Everyone wanted to be first and these doctors were extremely hellbent on going down in history for being the first person to figure out how to, (for example), save the lives of pregnant women & their children by figuring out how to perform a c-section etc. I think the show would be too gross for Ellie, but I have faith in you Blue! You would totally love it!

U can also shoot coke & crystal . It is more common in the US to shoot crystal over coke though. But Vince in the movie is definitely on H . That's why he had that chill-mellow vibe during the dinner with Mia Wallace... he was high AF
