Blank Map Prints

Just a quick post today with some 'Blank Map' pages. You can print them off and draw in islands, icons and location names.
I've been using them for players to create their own domains, where their characters hail from or control. They then bring them to sessions and piece them together to create a little continent. Really getting into collaborative world-building lately! I've found it allows players to feel much more involved with and attached to the campaign world. 😊 I thought you would find some use for them.

That sounds great! We've found that it makes discoveries in the world that much more exciting. The characters who live in the world would know how it functions, and have heard of famous people and places. The collaborative aspect means no info dumping from the GM! And when the GM does reveal something the player characters weren't aware of, the reaction feels very natural. 😃 It probably isn't for everyone though!

2023-02-01 19:56:25 +0000 UTCI very much agree with the collaborative world-building idea, a group I was with played the Micropose game for a couple of sessions, then wrote up a wiki-style doc for everything we knew, the GM then picked a portion of the world and a time frame, and away we went :)
