Hello friends. Well, here is my first development report for March.
It's been almost a month since I first unveiled my game. While I pour all my skills and time into developing Parasite Inside, I didn't expect such attention to my project. It's both inspiring and challenging, as it compels me to approach game development with even greater responsibility.
Before I delve into how this month went, I want to thank each and every one of you once again for your tremendous support. It's hard to convey how motivating and inspiring it is to improve and evolve the game. Thank you all!
The feedback on the game that I received this month was good and bad. Sorting the comments and suggestions by importance levels, I'm striving to address the game's shortcomings.
I want to share with you what I've accomplished since the release of version 0.1.1.
Skipping parts of cutscenes
There were many comments about this. Shortening the cutscenes I made before version 0.1.1 didn't solve the problem. So I had to completely overhaul the cutscene playback system to add such a small button.
Video Gallery
Along with revamping the cutscenes, I also decided to create a video gallery. The videos in the gallery will be different from the cutscenes, as the scenes there will mainly be looped, with the ability to change the camera angle and playback speed.
Brightness settings
This may seem like a simple task, but it took me a lot of time to implement this feature and make it work without bugs.
Long ventilation shafts
Many complained about the game's pace dropping during sneaking through long ventilation shafts. They've been replaced with service corridors where you can run.

These are the main changes, but I've also fixed several bugs and improved many things. I think these changes will be included in patch 0.1.2, as it mostly focuses on fixing what already exists.
Parallel to these fixes, I've been working on the second act, such as modeling objects, dialogues, and level design. It's hard to show anything from the second act to avoid spoilers, so I'll just share a few screenshots.
