✨ 2nd Guest Artist - Devin Elle Kurtz! ✨

Hey Bootcampers! ⚔️

We have some great news for you! In February, we'll be having a SECOND guest artist - Devin Elle Kurtz! She's a super fantastic illustrator and background artist who's worked with Dark Horse, Marvel, and Netflix. 🔥

Since many of you are preparing your portfolios for the contest, we thought it would be a great idea to bring in another special guest :)

Since January's technically the finale Bootcamp class, Devin will take over teaching for February and will be focusing on the unique techniques she uses to tell stories in her beautiful illustrations.

Devin Elle Kurtz will be teaching the two classes below:

- Storytelling: Exploration for Illustration ☀️ Devin will take us through the very beginning of how she crafts the story for an illustration. Concept work and Idea generation is key in driving a story. She'll use research and story building techniques to paint 2 different sketches into color keys!

- Storytelling: Painting a Shift in Time 🌙 Devin will finish the two color keys that she's started in the previous class, teaching us the differences about painting daylight vs night time. She'll teach us how to tell a story using color, atmosphere and mood. She'll also provide a 'neutral base' PSD for you to try at home!

Please note that these two lessons will take the place of any Bootcamp classes for the month of February. If you're already a patron in the Wizard Tier, you'll be billed on Feb 1st and sent these classes automatically once they're released. We'll be including an optional assignment and PSDs for you to use to draw alongside Devin herself!
