With behavior similar to a mimic, it disguises itself as the floor and walls of a dungeon, using treasure-chest-shaped lures to prey on humans and monsters. Sometimes, it even pretends to be a woman about to be devoured by the chest, transforming into the adventurer's preferred type of woman one after another, pleading for help.
アクセルの街近くには「ダンジョンもどき」というモンスターがいる。ミミックに似た生態で、ダンジョンの床や壁に擬態し、宝箱型の疑似餌で人間やモンスターを捕食する。時には宝箱に捕食されかけている女性に成りすまし、冒険者の好みの女性に次々と変身し、助けを求めるという。

For example, the activities on Herta Station involving the mimic water creature, or the mimicry of a certain boss, are concepts I’m currently planning and would like to incorporate into my work in the future. Although it’s still a bit down the line, please look forward to it! (I plan to start after NovelAI’s v4 update, as I’d like to depict many characters with mimicry.) 崩壊スターレイルには擬態をテーマにした設定がいくつかありますよね。例えば擬態する水蛸生物によるヘルタステーションでの活躍や、とあるボスの擬態などは今後作品にしたいと思って構想中です。まだ先の予定ですがご期待ください。(大勢のキャラクターを擬態させたいのでNovelAIがv4にアップデートされてから着手する予定です。）
