News on Town of Magic's Discord Channel
Added 2022-05-23 19:36:25 +0000 UTCThere are instances of fake and duplicate accounts on our Discord channel. There have also been hacking attempts, so we will be making a massive cleanup of unverified accounts to protect our users.
This will affect all inactive accounts and accounts without a user role.
To avoid getting accidentally kicked out of our server, we recommend having a user role.
Users with a proper user role have a colored username (Yellow, blue, or purple).
If you don't and your username is white, you can assign yourself a user role doing the following steps:
1. Hover over your profile avatar to open the user menu
2. Click on My profile settings from the menu
3. Click on Apps from the menu bar
4. Click the Connect button next to Discord under App Integrations
5. Enter the email address or phone number you use to log in with Discord and your password and click the Login button
6. Click the Authorize button
If you do this procedure correctly the Patreon bot will assign you a role in our Discord channel.
