Bc I’m naturally bad at it I became obsessed with it and very good at it so I would think “why are they being so awkward. There’s a script for this scenario. Follow what you are supposed to say and stop being weird and making people uncomfortable.”

It feels a bit narcissistic to worry about living while they didn’t. They don’t care. They wouldn’t care if they were alive. As someone who’s dad died right after I finished college that question asked came of as annoying because he already had the answer. Grieve if you’re still sad, but don’t grieve because you’d feel guilty about not wanting to grieve. But, then again, survivors grief is real…
