To the person who asked the first question, give it some time before you are able to talk to your friend about what they did, but also I would be interested to see how he is recovering/getting help because people can change. Most people that have that affliction have been through trauma that rewired their brain chemistry. You are allowed to feel shocked and disgusted, but he was really close to you, so his recovery might be important to you

I had prom the year before and during covid and both times I walked out early. Def not people make it up to be. Not saying their feelings aren't valid but if missing out on prom upsets them this much then there's gotta be some real self reflection.
