Merch drop - Table book & lawn chair

Head to theyard.sale and connect with your Patreon account. Once connected, if you're a Tier 3, you'll be able to purchase the items with your 25% discount, which will be automatically applied in checkout.
Ordering both items together will give you FREE SHIPPING (US only).
If you order 2 chairs and 1 book, order the second chair separately. This will make it so you are not double charged shipping, when you should be getting free shipping for at least the 1 chair and book together.
Also, the lawn chair is not available outside of North America due to shipping costs and customs restrictions.
Why is this chair so expensive?
tl;dr
- this chair costs ~$57 to make per unit
- the shipping costs are very large for this item, so we included a majority of the average shipping cost in the price
- the retail price has to account for our tier 3 patron discount (25%) These chairs are heavy and large items compared to clothes, so costs are much higher than a normal item we might sell.
These ship from the southwest US, so on the low end domestic shipping is about $25 and the high end $60 (NY for ex.).
Given that the Patreon discount reduces the price of the good by 25% ($93.75) and a large number of units sell at that price, we need to make sure that the average shipping cost ($42-45, given more sales occur from east coast buyers) is paid for while not going negative on the majority of orders.
The reason we can make shipping entirely free if people order the book and the chair is that the book's profit margin is much larger and it is also way cheaper to ship. So by eating into the margin of the book sale, even with the discount accounted for, we can afford to make shipping free for those orders.
I wanted to explain because I think the first look at the price might make it seem like we're trying to gouge people, and we're not - we want our products to be accessible and affordable, without going negative on them. If people have more specific questions, feel free to ask me! - Aiden
