FIGURE IT OUT sketch pages in progress

I really, really want to make a comic about figure skaters. I ordered a big fat book on the subject that should be arriving next week, and I can't wait to get into it. Figure skating is the sort of thing I don't know much about, but I like watching it and dig the costumes so I MIGHT AS WELL WRITE EROTICA ABOUT IT
These are some test pages I made for what I'll probably be calling FIGURE IT OUT. I have to set it aside for now as I wrap up Study Break 3 for Slipshine, but it's something I'd love to devote partial focus to in the new year (holy shit, am I talking about 2021 already?). I kinda drew this without writing it first because I didn't expect to like it as much as I do, so some of the lorem ipsum is written in actual english so I know how many words/letters I can use when I DO write it.
It was also fun to dink around with some new brushes and try getting...I guess a little funkier? with character shapes. Some of these techniques I've already carried over to Study Break 3 and I'm pretty excited about that.
