Some people get too committed to an idea they have at the start of a play, and don't adjust for what the defense is giving them. The initial play idea may be right in theory, but they don't take the next step in the thinking side of the game to make the adjustments on the fly.

Ludwig probably went and saw treasure planet which was out at the same time as two towers in 2002. That or Adam Sandler’s 8 crazy nights.
