How does NB-IOT and CAT-M compare to LoRaWAN (Tutorial)?

Would LoRaWAN or Sigfox be obsolete? If you are brave, you will follow my journey and learn much about cellular IOT technology and how to survive the minefield it is built on. Then, you can decide what to do with LoRaWAN.

Hi Eric, Do you mean the 4G network? Indeed this belongs to many involved companies. But it is hard to avoid using it (for non-IOT stuff). At least for me...

2024-03-21 21:47:15 +0000 UTCThe problem with that idea requires use of someone else's stuff. If you are using their stuff they can deny you access or filter the data. So I wouldn't use it for "mission critical" communication. But for just everyday use it may be better or at least investigating.
