2024-09-14 13:41:41 +0000 UTCHmmm..... First off, I absolutely did not hate this video. It's touching, actually. Even poignant. I like this video. Very much so. Now, I have 13 watches but only two have anything resembling "memories" attached to them, and I did not buy either one. One is a Seiko Quartz dress watch that my bride gave to me as a wedding present in 1986 (coincidentally, I gave her a Seiko Ladies dress watch as well, a really beautiful one) and a late 1940s Orfina self-winding that my Dad bought in Germany after WWII, where he met my mom. I do not wear either very much at all since they are both rather small in accordance with the prevalent styles of those times. But they are far more important as mementos than anything I have acquired since, even my Omega, which I bought 2 years ago. Always love Gringa-Videos! Always something to make one think and reflect.
