This July & August, The Neo-Futurists invite you to four workshops in four weeks with four different Neo instructors. Each class offers a variety of tools to get past the walls we put up in our creative process; by the end, students will have new ways to create work more freely together. Take the individual classes for $60 each or bundle all four for $200 (a 25% discount)!
WEDNESDAY, JULY 19TH, 6:30PM-9:30PM
$60 (INCLUDES ONE TICKET TO THE INFINITE WRENCH THAT WEEKEND)

When you can’t write the thing, you can still write something. In this 3-hour workshop, Ensemble Member Neil Bhandari will lead participants through a series of writing exercises, physical activities and object work designed to shake you out of your writing rut and help discover the magnum opus in your grocery list, the great American novel in your sad American navel-gaze, the bildungsroman in your lil lungs bro man. Let’s hang.
WEDNESDAY, JULY 26TH, 6:30PM-9:30PM
$60 (INCLUDES ONE TICKET TO THE INFINITE WRENCH THAT WEEKEND)

Stuck in a rut with your writing? Ready to surprise yourself? With ensemble member Nick Hart, this 3-hour performance workshop is designed to embrace spontaneity and to emphasize and heighten live theatrical performance by using elements of chance, audience interaction, sport, and dance.
WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 2ND, 6:30PM-9:30PM
$60 (INCLUDES ONE TICKET TO THE INFINITE WRENCH THAT WEEKEND)

Ensemble Member Cat Huck will lead participants through a series of meditations, simple movements, and discussions to get you out of your head and onto the page. This workshop will be focused on writing a monologue through the Neo-Futurist aesthetic. By the end, you’ll have a series of tools in your tool belt to help you write whatever you want, whenever you please, as hard as you can. In a chill way.
WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 9TH, 6:30PM-9:30PM
$60 (INCLUDES ONE TICKET TO THE INFINITE WRENCH THAT WEEKEND)

Come write, play, and fail on your feet with ensemble member Abby Pajakowski. Pals in this workshop will mess around with making work before knowing what the work is, using elements of clown as a starting point for creation. Let’s grab onto one small nugget of something or other and see where it can take us. Maybe we’ll write some cool shit without ever touching pen to paper. Maybe. Maybe not. Let’s get started inside the maybe of it all.
ALL CLASSES ARE SUITED FOR STUDENTS OF ANY AND ALL EXPERIENCE LEVELS.

The Neos
