We're glad you've stumbled into our very own Underground.
Undertale, the hit 2015 indie RPG game by Toby Fox and co., has become a massive cultural phenomenon. So much so that, seven years later, it still holds up and has been ported to multiple different consoles, gained recognition from the world's greatest game companies, and was adapted to whole new mediums by fans from fan-games to comics to - you guessed it - musical adaptations!
Our show, appropriately named "UNDERSTAGE", is one such Undertale musical... However, we'd like to present you with something new and different: adapting the game's story for a complete stage production! We'll include characters’ full backstories from across the game’s different paths and endings and merge them into one, to add context and make it accessible and enjoyable for newcomers or even non-fans.
The ultimate goal is to create a full-length animated mockup (with a runtime cap of around 3 hours) of a live performance of the show on a 3D-modeled stage, like a real broadway musical on its grand debut!
