New things in the making!

Hello, It's me!

I would like to say I'm really honored by the new subscribers and followers. All of this still feels quite surreal to me sometimes. Thank you.

Now let's talk about the few things that are in the works for the next version of the game. One of the most asked for things - from the very beginning- was . . . I think you can guess this one . . . It's the (step)mother, Helena. And I'm confident most of you will be quite happy with this news - We are working currently on just that. The update will feature the first part of her overall story. It might take only 2 updates, maybe. . more. I want it to really be special and the wider and more intricate narrative we want to deliver will surely take too much in one go. Updates taking longer is not something I'm comfortable with and would really really like to deliver something new and playable more frequent. Even though the development never was predictable and can go in all sorts of directions, I decided to at least try this more split up approach. All of your opinions are of course welcome.

Besides the (step)mother, there will be a new quest window which I wanted to do since forever. Finally, I think It's the right time. Quests will now have their own screen, more detailed descriptions and will be much more easy to read. The quest system that was used up until now will still exist but only as an indicator of scene completion because I always found the small window clumsy.

Some very intriguing ideas have come to mind as well and I want to make a certain enemy have their own story and progression, but I will post a poll tomorrow to see what you guys think of that.
