Quick note about SLARPG's second anniversary
Added 2024-12-15 05:03:15 +0000 UTCHi everyone! Just wanted to set expectations for SLARPG's upcoming second anniversary on the 20th. I've been asked a few times if I have anything special planned for the occasion, and unfortunately the answer to that is "no."
Ideally, I would have liked to get the big update with Hard Mode and whatnot (and/or the digital instruction booklet) out for the anniversary, but I still haven't made much progress on that. I'm still slowly recovering from burnout after dedicating eight years of my life to SLARPG, and also in these past few months (and this month especially) I've been dealing with some stressful stuff in real life that's made it difficult for me to focus on any of my creative work, whether it's SLARPG, Thanks Ken Penders, various half-finished blog posts I'm working on for my new formal blog (go read that btw), or just drawings I'd like to do for fun. I'm cautiously optimistic that once we're past the busy holiday season I'll be able to make some headway on making things again, but I'm certainly not going to have anything big done in the next five days.
I'm sorry if this is disappointing, but, well, it is what it is. I don't want people waiting with bated breath for big news from me on the 20th. Thank you for continuing to enjoy the game, and for your continued patience with these things.
