General Update: June

Hey everybody!

I know I've been rather quiet as of late, so I thought I'd just let you all know what I'm up to. The female human won the previous model poll by a landslide. I started working on that model just about two weeks ago now, and I'm proud to say that not only is it almost finished, it's perhaps also the most advanced model I have ever made. I've often been self-conscious about showing Felina's feet and hands in animations, since they are what I'd consider 'slightly cringe-inducing.'

Luckily — thanks to your support — I've made huge leaps in terms of my own modeling skills, allowing me to focus on bringing my characters to the level of WoW's in-game cinematics! So what does that mean? It mostly means toes. With nails. Feet with toes on them and nails on those toes. Also fingers. Fingers with 3 joints, also with nails. I'm looking into adding a tongue as well!

As for the near future: I'll be going on vacation for two weeks at the end of this month. I'm not really going to bother putting pledges on hold, since two weeks often pass without any posts anyway (guessing you are used to that, thanks so much for your patience)!

My next focus lies on a quick Nightborne animation, although it will take a little time to dress up my base model, make it look like the in-game Arcanist Valtrois. I love my details, especially now that I've mastered spell effects and such! On a related note, I can't promise I'll finish the Felina post before going on vacation, but I'll certainly try my best.

Lastly, I want to confess something. I don't want this to be a cause for alarm, but lately I've felt this hobby has been taking quite a toll on me. I'm a student first and foremost, and yet I dedicate at least one hour every day to making WoW smut. On weekends I can often spend an entire day doing it. That's a lot of time. As an individual, I don't work very effectively when I'm demotivated or feel uninspired, and doing so just serves to slow me down further and demotivate me even more. I'm really looking forward to this vacation, because it will be a chance to not have all of this in the back of my mind.

I suppose another responsible thing to do would be giving all of you generous investors some insight into my popularity and growth. I'm sitting on around 7.5k followers on tumblr, and it hasn't moved much in the past month. I hit 6k in January, so that should give you some perspective. Likewise, my Patreon is hovering around its current mark, with patrons replacing each other as they come and go. The overall pledge & payout is in slow decline, but that honestly doesn't matter too much, seeing as this is really just a tip jar.

Anyway, here's my plea. It would be nice with some feedback on how I'm doing as a creator, because I often feel guilty for taking so long between animations. You must realize that I am reconstructing each model as I go along (see the pic above), which is the main reason I'm one of the slowest artists in the WoW smut community at the moment. Hopefully around this time next year, I'll have finished updating all the models and can focus solely on animating. 

So please feel free to be vocal! Use that community tab! Comment on stuff! This Patreon is a two way street, so to speak. There's nothing I'd rather do than answer your concerns and listen to your feedback and suggestions. If you're fine with what I do, then that's cool too!
