Apocynum Press Stuff
Added 2021-11-21 04:15:01 +0000 UTCI've put together some notes on the process of building gamebooks for Apocynum Press, and I figured y'all might enjoy it too. It's pretty eclectic but there we are.
I may wind up releasing this publicly in the future, and it's already up at the Apocynum Press repository, but for now it's here!

2021-11-22 23:06:52 +0000 UTCSomething would have to convince me enough other people feel that way to cross at *least* the "gift to the community" bar, and hopefully the "profitable" bar. It's possible that at a later point in time, when I've had enough successful kickstarters that I can afford one to possibly flatly fail, I can test the waters that way! It's a *lot* of words, and curating and assembling it is a lot of work, and emotionally draining work to boot. You can find three curated ePub collections covering through the beginning of chapter 3 on smashwords under the headings "Hitherby Dragons: the Original Performances," if that helps; that was as much as I could manage before it was just too much to keep doing for the sake of doing it.

2021-11-22 22:12:02 +0000 UTCeee! Sort of related but only tangentially, since you mention the novels: Will we one day see a hard copy box set of the complete Hitherby Dragons? I would save for months to buy it with no regrets, and probably buy another bookshelf, because I have been out of shelf space all pandemic and am drowning in books ; )
