Nice!!! Venus Theory proved with his Volitions library that you don’t actually need to know how to play the Violin or Viola in order to make a great sample library out of it.

I'm trying to change careers from Software Dev to become a film/game composer, so anything to make things fun while I gain different skills. I ended up finding an intermediate student level violin for $40 with the bridge, and bow included. Do I know how to play violin? Nah. Am I going to add to sample it with Kontkt? I'm going to try. I also found a Ukulele with bass strings for $300. I bet I can find a cheap Ukulele and some nylon bass strings for it.
