In the Works

Greetings people! Sorry about the cobwebs, I admit I haven't been posting on here as often as Id like but that changes now! Life stuff had me super busy yadda yadda, you know how it goes. On to the good stuff.

With the completion of my Hurricane video, the end of my primary weapons series has arrived. Now I can start to do some stuff I've had in my head to do since the beginning of the year, and with that an improvement to my workflow so that's nice. Its been a month since my last video but that's mostly due to me starting a new part time job and various other shenanigans keeping me from videos recently. These next few videos will hopefully be much faster as far as release times go! Ill give you a bit of a roadmap of what I have planned and a bit of self-indulgent blogging on the matter as well.

First thing that's coming right now is a Corrections video. Its what it sounds like, a brief revisiting of previous builds where I've wanted change something or where GSG has changed something significant. I'm going over all the classes builds that are relevant as well as touching on some weird things like faulty armor break and my gunner video having loud music. I should have the voice over done pretty soon for that so Ill be posting that here when its complete so you can hear it ahead of time.

Next order of business is a long overdue look at the Rivals. I want to do an overview of each Rival unit and the Caretaker. This will of course have some tips and strategies I enjoy using against them but will also a be another speculative lore dump along the lines of my Hoxxes: Beneath the Crust video. I really enjoy making content like that and am excited to finally get back to it again. The Rivals will be split up into what is looking like three separate videos. I'm trying something different here in that I want to release more frequently and keep video length around 8 to 10 minute if I can help it, max 15. Build videos always seem to balloon to 20 minutes but I like to keep those grouped the way they are. This change is to avoid the MASSIVE production length of videos like the BET-C guide and Beneath the Crust. While they turned out great, it was a slog to get through, being a one man production crew so I hope three part videos are going to be a much needed pace change for everyone.

Anyway, the first video will be covering all the common units up to the Nemesis. Ill drop some stuff about origins, production and even some interesting details about the Rivals appearance I've thought about since they first showed up. The second video will be a deep look at the Caretaker and how I prefer to set up a fight with one on hazard 5, plus some extra tidbits about the entire structure of a Sabotage mission. The third video will be showcasing some more builds, Bot Killer builds to be specific. I actually have these already up as my most recent submissions on my Karl.gg page, link right here: https://karl.gg/profile/190?page=4#/

The plan is to get these videos done before GSG comes back at us in full force this fall and winter with a new season and more content, especially whatever threat looms in the distance for us. I want to be ready when that drops and do some content on it WHEN it releases for once!

After that trio, I think the next thing will be dependent on how I'm feeling at the time. I have Halloween special video planned for this October, involving the Unknown Horror. It'll be similar to the intro to the BET-C video but as a stand alone short. That's gonna be fun. Then, I think Ill go ahead and complete the mission prep series with the overdue videos on missions and mutators in relation to perks. And even still after THAT I want to revisit the good old Glyphid Swarm in a series of videos on swarm dynamics, kiting, biology and behavior. Another lore heavy series that will include tips on working your way up to hazard 5 tactics and yes, even the Dreadnought video people keep asking me to do!

I've got my work cut out for me, but I couldn't be happier that people want to see what I've got in the works. I'm insanely grateful that you chose to support me on here and I can definitely say that your support has helped me through a rough few months, so thank you. I'm gonna keep the content coming, and you'll be a seeing a lot more of me on here, that's a promise!

Rock and Stone!
