Story - BEYOND FRIENDSHIP

I've been working on some major improvements to my dialogue systems recently which have taken up most of my time and energy. I wanted to share a bit of the progress we making behind the scenes, even if the changes aren't visible yet.
In the meantime, we put together a short side story set in the same universe as "Herald" series. It uncovers a bit more of the friendship between the lizardman character and Jasmine. I hope you'll find glimpses of their history and bond in this tale of peril and forbidden delight.
Once I get the "things" worked out in my dialogue processing, I'll be ready to dive back into continuing publishing (non nightly) builds. But I hope this provides a bit of extra insight into the world and characters you've come to know. Let me know what you think of any new details or possibilities teased in this piece. I love hearing theories or ideas for where the story could go from here.

Hey, thanks for your comment! Yeah, we're totally gonna have human interactions in the project too, not just monsters. Monsters aren't actually that common in the underground, and there are no monsters in the world above ground. We're also open to adding new characters, so if you have any ideas, let us know. 2023-04-06 12:22:15 +0000 UTCPretty good just some grammar stuff. I can’t wait to see how you put it all together. One thing I am wondering if there are human interactions like with monsters. People probably won’t care for it. Since this started off mostly as a dungeon monster thing. However I am here for whatever direction the story takes. I even was thinking of characters I might like to put in as well if I ever got the chance. Keep up the great work. You have a talent for storytelling it seems to me. I have started stories myself just never gotten around to finishing any.
