In a perfect world, I'd be able to take the time to iterate repeatedly on the UI until I'm fully satisfied with it, but I handle UI so late in development that I don't want to hold up the game just for that, so I usually just settle for good enough. Still, I did try some new things for this UI, notably by using circular sliders that take up less space and are a bit friendlier for touchscreens.
The customization menu was a bit of a challenge, because some customization options are character-specific and others are position-specific, but I think it's sufficiently readable.
We're so close! The UI and scene are all done! The last steps are to design a title/logo card, which might include me making an extra custom artwork to use for the title and thumbnails, and then create my usual credits/start menu.
