Added 2022-10-10 23:40:58 +0000 UTCSo a lot has happened since the last Patreon Post so most of this will be a reword of what we said on the Murder Miners Discord early access channels.
First off I would like to say we appreciate everyone who continue to believe in us and also supporting us. We have spent lots of time on U40 and without you guys none of this would have had happen.
What has happened since the last post:

- (W.I.P) New Miner News showcasing new stuff and hype announcements.
- We have made plans for a better cosmetic system along with unlocks/rewards.
- Spoke with other members of JForce about making the game F2P but they decided "no" :(
- Added a lot more features, bug fixes, and reworks which will be covered bellow in the Early Access Build Notes.
- Spoke with Nvidia about making the game available on GeforceNow. GeforceNow is a website by Nvidia that allows you to stream games to play from your Steam, Origin and Epic Games account from any browser. This means essentially means we can have Xbox and PS4 Players playing Murder Miners with PC players. They haven't responded about giving us SDK access but we'll try again.
- 2022 Events: Easter and Egg Hunt, April Fools, Eid, 10th Anniversary, Halloween, Christmas.
- Made a public dev status channel on discord, but it doesn't have the same early access content as the patreon only dev status.
- Weekly Gamenights on Saturdays/Sundays.
- Giveaways.
- Partnered up with a really cool indie game from back on XBLIG called Deadburg.
- Speed running events
- Kept in touch with the MMX sneak peaks.
- Working on finishing Steam Deck support.
- Modding support with publicly released assets is planned.
- New Early Access Build is under way, you can test it by going into #early_access_builds in the discord. (Still somewhat buggy).
- Minerbot 2.0 Plans for more MM integration to the discord.

Early Access Build Notes: (Additions/Fixes/Reworks/Removes)
General:
- New Map Makers Screen.
- New Supporters Screen.
- Moved HUD toggle to Graphics Options Screen.
- Added over 128 new blocks. Functional blocks include Lava, Weapon Crate, OP Weapon Crate, explosives, bullet pass-through, player pass-through, miner pass-through, zombie pass-through.
- New Map Creation Screen.
- More Larger Map height and map width/length options. Up to 1024 blocks in height!
- Added Discord and Steam Rich Presence. Highly detailed view of what you're doing in game with join button.
- New Copy and Paste function.
- Copy-able invite link to invite anyone from anywhere!
- Joining an invite link without the game open will now launch the game and automatically join the match.
- Fixed alt + tab issue where you unfocus the game and the map breaks.
- New chat commands: /music {name of song}, /clear (clears messages in chat box), /resetmap, /disable (disables chat box), and more!
- Mod Support: Release all assets publicly and a folder specially for loading modded files.
- XRAW Plugin: Is a new .xraw importer and .xraw exporter integrated into the game so you can externally edit maps in Magicavoxel as second way of map editing.
- Sentry now uses a new barrel that is no longer directly tied to the op sniper and now has shares the same weapon skin with the rest of the sentry.
- New Updated look for sentry.

- Doubled the amount of type-able characters in the chat box from 60 to 130.
- New Chat text filter based off of your Steam language filter settings.

- New Sound Options Screen with new Sound FX Volume, Ambience Volume, and Music Volume Sliders.
- Added Graphics Presets to the Graphics Options Screen.
- Added Quick 180 Turn toggle.
- Spawning in is now instant in speedrun mode and map making mode! This will be great for speedrunners.
- New box and darkness UI for menus.
- Fixed Help screen UI issues.
- New Kill Ticker icons: Storm, Murdership, MurderBike, and camo stealth.
- New Fog Distance Override Toggle in Map Options screen.
- New Manage Players screen.
Cosmetics:
- Added New Helmets: Assassin and Goblin.
- Removed Fancy Helmet.
- New Weapon Skin System with over 20 new skin sets! Pick and choose a skin for each weapon.
- Reworked Helmet System.
- New Hat System with many new cool, fun and wacky hats to add to your wardrobe.
- New Armor Skin System which lets you choose to have new variation of armor skin designs and overlays. Give yourself a new tron look with the Tron armor skin or go for a gory look with the blood overlay.
- New Zombie Skin System has many to choose from zombie skins that can be set for each zombie type.
- New Unlock System with possibility of Steam Inventory and Marketplace for players to sell, buy and trade their certain cosmetics and show off their cosmetics.
Weapons:
- New Plasma SMG. Fires lots of hot Plasma balls on your enemies.
- New OP Pistol.
- New OP Shotgun.
- New OP Battle Rifle.
- New OP Machine Gun.
- New OP Rocket Launcher.
- New Alpha Pistol.

- Fists can now be disabled.
- Changed Shotgun Camo Functionality: Shotgun camouflage will stay locked-in after woosh sound effect.
- Minergun blaster pulse can now damage vehicles.
- Fixed Machine Gun smoke not being visible for other players.
- Fixed Sentry related bugs.
- Grenade is now thrown from the left hand.
Modes/Modifiers:
- New Gravity Slider.
- New Headshot Only toggle.
- New Assassination Only toggle.
- New Maximum Health slider.
- New Maximum Shields slider.
- New Zombie Riding Vehicle Toggle.
- New Ramming Toggle.
- New Force Ramming Toggle removes hard-coded ramming toggle for zombies and flag holders.
- Removed block atlas override toggle.

- Self-Murder Countdown slider.
- Health/Shield Regen Toggle.
- Movement speed can now be decreased to 5% and increased to 250%.
- New Flag Touch to Return toggle.
Misc:
- Switched the Windows version from the XNA Framework to the FNA framework which allows us to use textures above 4096x4096 and includes many other fixes. Additionally MM will become a 64bit application meaning that the game can now use more memory so players can load in much larger maps.
- Moved Sentry textures and effect textures to their own respected files to allow more room in the block atlas file.
- Sentry now uses it's own cube model in the hand.
- Fixed the positioning of the official and gamenight lobbies in the lobby search screen.
- "Save Map As" moved up to the top in the Map Options screen.
- New Menu background darkness slider.
- New Cursor Color picker.
- New Team color switcher.
- Ambient Occlusion toggle.
- New button icons for controller, minergun, keyboard/mouse: Generic, PS3, PS4, PS5, Steam Deck, Switch, Switch Pro, Xbox 360, Xbox 360-Alt, Xbox One, Xbox Series, XG, Light and Dark.
- Steam Deck Support (Soon).
- Automated Servers available for anyone to host (Soon).
- New Steam Cloud Saves (Soon) with option to upload certain maps to cloud saves.
