2025-11-27 03:27:45 +0000 UTCdoing my civic duty, and praying for Hjørring City Council (Denmark) to enter the mayortaculus 🙏 recordings from their meetings went semi-viral last month and they're insulting each other nonstop - leading to the mayor "de-escalating" the situation by hiring security guards (???) which ofc only made it worse. local elections are today, and since nothing fun ever happens in this country, I'm hoping we at least get some weird mayors 🤧

2025-11-18 16:28:42 +0000 UTCit's sad you can't legally cover Doug Ford because he keeps passing bills to micromanage Toronto *and* piss me off specifically by for example ordering bike lanes removed from critical streets in downtown Toronto and outlawing speed cameras which were already baked into the city's budget and traffic safety plans
