Staten Island Chuckβs daughter Charlotte was the groundhog who died, I believe. The zoo claimed her death was unrelated but it was three days after he dropped her and was apparently due to internal trauma.

2025-10-12 00:41:01 +0000 UTCI feel obligated to bring up that I'm pretty sure the arrest of De Blasio's daughter in 2020 was not the first time the NYPD threatened de Blasio's kids, but I can't find the story easily now. But de Blasio rolling over for the NYPD is kinda explained by them basically holding his daughters hostage for his entire term
