2025-01-24 08:58:03 +0000 UTCthere won't be any because we don't really elect mayors in Ireland, we elect local councillors and the chairperson of the council is then the lord mayor. not really the same but I'm inclined to argue that like. local councils in Ireland are probably also home to the same type of insane people but at a smaller scale. Boston, Co. Clare is tiny though. It isn't even big enough to qualify for "two pubs, a post office, a shop and a church" vibes, given it's got like. a national school (state school for kids aged 4-12) and a church and a couple of houses
