End of Month Update May 2021

Posting this a couple of days earlier than usual...

We'll see how support is at the start of June...but mostly likely I'll be aiming to release v.0.01 by the end of next month.

I had originally planned for around 300 renders to do the job. Seeing since this is a new story with an introduction to new characters, I thought 300 would suffice, but...I'll need more than 300.

I will not be factoring in the extra renders to the goal I've set, that would only prolong the release date, and this project is already 3-4 months late due to the market's fascination with "nightmare fuel" and "walking simulators."

The title of the new project will most likely be "Heir Apparent."

Primal Instinct was always set out to be different to the usual Adult V/N's that flood the "market." It had a set story with multiple character arcs. It needed time to build. The support was small but passionate. I've mentioned many times before the only reason it lasted to v.0.07 was because the people who loved it, really loved it! But that was not enough to continue. It failed to capture enough people, and I refused to destroy the story I had set out to tell to appease potential customers who were used to the standard formula that garners the most support. No one in my shoes would have continued as long as I did.

Better to let Primal Instinct remain what it is...

What's different with Heir Apparent?

I believe I have a good grasp on what the market does want. I think I can do it better than most. Some might see it as arrogance, but I believe my rendering skills and story telling is top tier. I guess we'll find out soon, won't we ;)

Remember, when Heir Apparent is released, and I think most will be surprised, 30 patrons stood till the end. Compare it to other projects when you finally get to play it, and ask yourself, 30 patrons helped this first release come to fruition?
